All participants coming from outside Townsville, including Course Coordinators and Keynote Speakers, are encouraged to choose on-campus accommodation at James Cook University. This will maximise opportunities for networking and for the development of a collegiate atmosphere throughout the entire week of the Winter Institute.

The University's residential colleges are in a pleasant, rustic setting and the cost is very reasonable at $46.20 per night for a single room with shared facilities, including all meals. Bed linen is provided. The residential college we will be using is St. Raphael's.

Bookings for on-campus accommodation will be arranged by the Organising Collective and payment will be made directly to the College. Each participant will be invoiced, on arrival, by St. Raphael's College and it is requested that the full amount be paid at check-in.

If other accommodation options are preferred, those bookings (and travel to and from the University each day) will be the responsibility of participants.
