CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS
Mary Daly’s work illustrates the energy, the commitment, the intellectual rigour, the passion of many radical feminists in the early decades of Second Wave feminism.
This Magnetic Island Rage gives us all the opportunity to analyse, share, discuss, reinvigorate those amazing concepts which form the basis of feminist activism in the 21st Century.
We invite you to submit a brief abstract (100-150 words) explaining the kind of contribution you would like to make to this celebration of Mary Daly’s life:
1. Verbal contribution (academic paper; readings from Mary Daly’s work; personal expression of how Mary’s work has influenced your development as a feminist; etc.)
2. Dramatic presentation
3. Poster
If your submission is for the Verbal contribution or Dramatic presentation categories, please also indicate the amount of time you would like allocated to you on the program. We envisage 10 and 15 minute timeslots for contributions, followed by discussion, but are open to other reasonable requests.
